[MUSIC PLAYING] The Baymard Institute reports that 68.89% of people who visit your shopping cart will leave. We want to get them back. We don't just want to get them back to any old product page. We want to show them the actual products that were in their shopping cart when they abandoned. We want to retarget them with the products that they actually have added to the cart.
This is called dynamic product advertising and it is so powerful. The way that it works is you use a third party application from the Shopify app store to connect your Shopify products to your Facebook catalog. From within your Facebook catalog, you create what's known as a product set, which is a group of products that you want to advertise. And then in Facebook Ads Manager, you actually set up the ads.
Below this video or in the next video, I have created a text document for you that explains how to set up your product catalog and your product set so that we can actually run ads to people with the very products that were in their cart when they abandoned. It is an extremely powerful form of remarketing. And it is the most profitable form of remarketing in the entire retargeting pillar.
