In this lesson you’ll discover the simple process to start your free trial with Shopify.

In this lesson, I’ll show you how to start your free trial with Shopify. In the free trial, you’re able to customize your online store, start adding products, and do virtually everything you want to do to get your business set up. Go to Shopify to get started. From Shopify click “Start free trial.” When you start your free trial you’ll enter your contact details and your store’s name.

When you sign up to Shopify, you automatically get a free myshopify.com domain. That’s where your store will live when you’re just getting started. While you won’t be able to change this domain in the future, don’t worry too much about it. Later in the course, you’re going to learn how to create a custom domain for your store.

This free default domain will help you to get started and it won’t be visible to customers once you buy your custom domain. Once you’ve selected a name for your business, click “Create your store.” Once you’ve created your store, we’ll ask you a few questions to better understand your business.

Try to answer these as accurately as possible. After adding in your information enter your store. Congratulations you’ve taken the first step in creating your business. To keep your business safe and secure. You’ll also receive a confirmation email in just a few minutes. You’ve now started your free trial.
