She is responsible for helping to grow the company from 43 employees to over 2,000. You will learn from some of Shopify's past mistakes and understand how to hire the right people at the right time.

My name is Anna Lambert, and I'm the director of talent acquisition at Shopify. I joined Shopify when they were 43 people and helped to grow the company to over 2,000 incredible people all around the world. In this module, I'll share with you how to think about hiring, no matter the size of your business. We'll dive in to some mistakes, successes, and you'll leave with some tips on how to hire the right people at the right time. Our mission in TA at Shopify is to identify, attract, and hire the best people with uncompromising quality, increased diversity, and exceptional candidate experience, all the while decreasing time to hire.
Each of these elements are critical to your business' success and each are extremely hard to pull off, especially while growing as quickly as I imagine you are.
