Let me start off by saying paper all day long. Paper paper. Paper it’s biodegradable. Can be recycled recyclable protective of your product and is one of the easiest materials to print on. But that’s only if you don’t have some varnish coating on there that ruins the whole point of going sustainable in the first place.
Plastic should realistically be avoided at all costs. But there’s bad plastic and there’s OK plastic non virgin plastic as they call it in the industry. They really need to come up with a better name for that recycled plastic. We’ll have a gray inner liner while the other style will be white at least go with the inner gray. If you absolutely must go plastic when you produce
and ship domestically instead of overseas you’re engaging in a more sustainable practice for your business. You have a lower carbon footprint due to localizing your shipments shipments going in trucks instead of planes or huge sea freights. This is something that not only you should care about but is also a common trend amongst consumers and what they buy.
