[MUSIC PLAYING] In this course, we are so excited to share our experiences and teach you how to turn your passion into a business. I came to Canada over 40 years ago. Health has always been very important to me, and I taught my kids how to eat healthy. It was important for me that we choose fresh foods and cook them from scratch every day. I cook Indian food without any written recipes, with a little bit of this and a little bit of that.

I had learnt over time to estimate the amount of ingredients needed, and cooking from scratch was a long and tedious process. I could not see my kids doing that way. They had careers and very little time to spend in the kitchen. Experimenting with new ways of cooking Indian food, making it easier, healthier but still keeping the authentic flavor was fun for me. I made a cooking kit with different spice blends, which made it easier for my children to start cooking Indian food at home.

It turned out so good that we got together and decided to turn this fun venture into a business. My children join me who knew about business, marketing, and sales. We saw great potential as we started to sell to many people who love ethnic flavors but live busy lives and have limited time and energy to start cooking at home from scratch. Our products solve that problem.

Our products make cooking so easy that even my husband is not cooking with other seasonings. Our business started with a simple concept, and I'm excited by how we have grown. No matter what you make, I encourage you to look at it as potential business venture. You never know unless you try. [MUSIC PLAYING]
