How to create a contact page
Hi, I'm Samantha. I'm a small business owner and I work here at Shopify. In this video, you'll learn how to create a contact page for your online store. Your contact page is an essential element of your e-commerce store. It helps to convey trust to a potential customer and provides reassurance that there's a real person who will listen and respond to their questions or feedback. It can also be a marketing opportunity to help you connect with media outlets, inquiries from wholesale buyers or people who may want to work with you or even for you in the future.
Let's create your contact page together. From the Shopify admin, go to "Online store," then "Pages." In the title box, type in "Contact" or "Contact us." In the content box, type in the text you want to include. Be concise in your writing and convey a welcoming tone.
It's also important to write in your brand's voice. If you're writing to a female millennial in the United States, your messaging will be different than if you're writing to a 55-year-old man in the United Kingdom. Provide an email address for your business and you can also provide a phone number or retail address, if you have them. You can also add an image of yourself or your team. You may want to also show an image of a customer using your product.
In the template section, choose page.contact from the template suffix drop-down menu, click save. You've now set up your contact page and you're ready to receive requests.
